Dynamic Emission Economics

POWER uses a self-balancing emission formula that adjusts based on network staking behavior

Emission Formula

actual = base × (1 - staking_ratio)²

More staking = lower emissions = increased scarcity

Low Staking (25%)

When only 25% of supply is staked:

20 × (1 - 0.25)² = 11.25 POWER/epoch

Higher emissions reward active miners

High Staking (75%)

When 75% of supply is staked:

20 × (1 - 0.75)² = 1.25 POWER/epoch
